Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) requires that the server support the Range protocol header.

Hello,

I have problem to download files from WSUS 3 - SP2. Installed on Windows 2008 R2 Standard, Internal Database and use proxy.

- I was reinstalled WSUS, creating a new server
- download some updates successfully
- I executed the command "ExecuteSQL.exe -S %computername%\MICROSOF T##SSEE -d "SUSDB" -Q "atualização tbConfigurationC definir BitsDownloadPriority Foreground = 1"" and after stop/start Update Services
- Use port 8530
- Already installed "WSUS-KB2734608-x64"

Content file download failed. Reason: The server does not support the necessary HTTP protocol. Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) requires that the server support the Range protocol header.

Did you ever resolve this error?  I just installed WSUS on Windows 2008 R2 server now I get the Range Protocol Header error
