autoplay for Windows 10

I cant seem to get my disc drive to auto play and without autoplay, I have no idea where/how to run my disc...
What kind of stuff are you trying to play?
Have you gone into File Explorer and tried to run from there?

Hi Michelle

Are you using Windows 10?

If so,

Insert the disk

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Devices - AutoPlay

Find that disk in the list of devices and set that to AutoPlay

Then remove the disk and re-insert it

If the disk still does not autoplay:

Open File Explorer (folder icon on your Taskber

On the left, click 'This PC'

On the right, do you see that disk?

If so, open the disk

You should see a file like setup, install or Start, double click that . . .
