"Automatic" change of Windows 10 login background picture Windows 10

I am worried about that my Windows 10 start-up login background picture changed by itself, and then a survey question popped up & asked if I liked it.  If not, they will send more, the pop up said.  Now, thinking back, this is weird. Was I hacked, or does Microsoft without my initiating a change, goes ahead and automatically changes start up Login background pictures?  I have not changed anything since installing Windows 10 on July 9, 2016. 
It is perfectly normal.  Microsoft automatically changes the background image on boot if it is configured to do so.  If you click on a picture you like Microsoft will add others like it.
