atheros client installation 10 download

I accidently removed Atheros Client Installation 10, now I'm really paranoid when the next update comes along for a Atheros driver, My pc won't work. I'm contacted my pc manufacture and Atheros and they have been absolutely no help at all. I tried a system restore and the program won't work, am I getting worked up for nothing or is this something I should be concerned about? If anyone knows of any download links that would be a huge help.

My pc is a asus notebook Q200E

Thank you

Hi Justin,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community forums.

I understand that you need the link to download Atheros client installation 10, since you have accidently removed it.

You have an option to update the drivers from device manager.

Update the drives from Device Manager:

a. Press Windows Key + R, type devmgmt.msc.
b. Expand the Adapters.
c. Click on properties, click on Driver tab.
d. Click Update Drivers button.
e. Click on OK button.

Try downloading the

Atheros Wireless Lan Driver and Application from ASUS website:

I have a HP laptop that came with Windows 7 and has been upgraded to Windows 10.  I've recently had problems with updating ZoneAlarm Extreme Security Software.  I get the message that the current version of this software cannot be updated and I need to uninstall it and then install a new version of the ZA software.  However, I could not uninstall it because I have not installed Service Packet #3.

I then went to safe mode and was able to uninstall the ZA software.  The problem is that now the driver software for the Atheros wireless network connection adapter seems to be corrupted or missing, although I can see this software listed in the applications list.  I also still see occasional screens asking if I want to update the ZA software which has been uninstalled from my PC.  I'm selecting NO until I can install the new ZA software.

Can I download a copy of the Atheros Driver Software to a thumb drive, install it on my laptop, and restore my ability to connect to the internet?
