Asus ROG Flow X13 Ctrl stuck - print screen

This is the same problem with the same laptop model as in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/control-key-acts-stuck-when-i-switch-to-tablet/10f5cd36-75ff-445e-9cc4-eccd3bbb12f3 but discussion was closed.

Moderator Lenka - MSFT gave a very bad solution to the problem, so Alexander Kempfle have broken PC. I tried this solution also and mine keyboard was broken, but to resolve this I updated "HID-compliant device" to default from "Human Interface Devices" in "Device Manager", so I restored it to its previous state.

There is still a problem with the Ctrl key and unnecessary keyboard shortcuts.

Hello, Dominiczeq, welcome to inquire about the Microsoft community.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand that you seem to be experiencing issues with shortcuts after an update.

Recently, we have collected many cases with the same symptoms and our analysis suggests that this issue may be related to the Armoury Crate application. You might want to try uninstalling this application or updating it to the latest version to see if your issue is resolved.

If the problem persists, you can try the following steps to rule out interference from third-party software and damage to system files:

1. Press Windows+R and type msconfig.
2. Open System Configuration, select the General tab, and choose Selective Startup.
3. Uncheck Load startup items.
4. Go to the Services tab, click on Hide all Microsoft services in the lower left corner, then click Disable all.
5. Click OK and restart your computer. (Make sure to first select Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all, otherwise it may lead to unforeseen issues like unable to boot into the system.)
6. Check if the problem still occurs.

Note: A clean boot starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so you can determine whether background programs are interfering with your game or program and help you identify the cause of the problem. It will help you get back on track. If you need further information regarding this feature, please refer to this link on how to perform a clean boot in Windows:
