Hello experts, I am currently using the ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 micro ATX - i945GC Motherboard and recently changed from windows xp to windows 7 x64, I know that asus does not support its driver on windows 7 but anyway everything works perfectly. Actually I
don't have the realtek high definition software option to configure the sound system as on CD-ROM drive which is supported on win XP, is there anyway to have it back on the system?
I've already tried that audio driver too, but it is not fully compatible with windows 7. When the high definition driver is selected, it worked for windows media player but applications such a Skype and the windows sounds itself doesn't work, overall no
additional option are available as we can found on its original CD-ROM drive supported on winXP. I don't think that asus is taking it seriously and if you find something else please post again.
