App does not Display in Windows 10 Lockscreen

So my current concern is that although I have turned on the weather app in the "Choose an app to show detailed status", the "detailed status app" is not displaying at all as can be referenced in the first screenshot. While on the other hand, the mail app in the "Choose apps to show quick status" displays perfectly. I have tried to restart the computer multiple times, and only once out of the plethora attempts did the weather app briefly display properly for about few seconds (fig. 3) before reverting back again to what the screen looks like in image number 2. I have never experienced this problem before while utilizing Windows 8 and I want to know is there a solution to this issue.

Thank you very much.

Edit: It turns out this is just a minor bug as the issue has now been resolved by Microsoft.

After upgrading to Windows 10 I also have the problem that many Apps do not even show up as a selection for the lock screen status. This means I can't add a status for mail, calendar and others!

Not the smooth upgrade I was hoping for!

I have the same problem as Michael. When I remember correctly, the selections did show up just after the upgraded, but now nada, zilch, nothing. I upgraded from Win 7 Pro.

Having same problem after uypgrade from Windows 8.1. Neither detailed or quick status apps would show on lock screen after multiple tries at various combinations of apps and reboots.  However, sproadically the detailed weather app would show up, but only after logging in after a restart from a lock screen not displaying apps and then using a keyboard shortcut  Windows Key - L to return to the lock screen.  This doesn't always work and sometimes the weather info appears for a brief portion of a second and then reverts to having nothing displayed.  Clearly a bug that should have been caught before release. I'm using a newer Dell All-One-Computer, which presumably is now shipping with Windows 10 factory installed.

You are absolutely right, this bug hasn't been fixed yet. I just updated my Windows 10 Pro with November update (Build 10586.14) and that issue is still exist on it, specially the Weather on lock screen. Looks like it just shows up when its wants to.

Exactly. No rhyme or reason to whether the weather (pun intended) shows up on the lock screen. Thanks for the confirmation.  Not a big deal, but annoying just the same.

I have the same problem with Windows Phone 10. No app status on lock screen or black sleep screen - just clock. Can't tell you how annoying it is to check weather every morning before getting dressed. I just want to look at phone and go. Please fix it Microsoft!

This also does not work for me, if MS does not fix this, I will just stop using the lock screen, I am the only user of this PC so a lock screen is not really needed. There are way to many flaws in build 14342 than to be to concerned about a useless application/

Still not working with build 14352. Does MS ever fix anything or do they just release a build to just release it. This is a minor issue but it should have been fixed by now.
