AOL Verizon email stopped working on Windows 10.

My AOL email account from Verizon stopped working three days ago on Windows 10.  It still works fine on my Windows 7 and Android phone. Does anyone else have this problem?  I've tried resetting, uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting and adding back my account.  None of this worked.

Hi William,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Did you notice any changes on the computer prior to this issue?

Are you facing issues with sending/receiving emails (email sync) or do you get any error when you launch the Mail app?

If you’re not able to send/receive emails, the issue probably is with AOL server settings. Please post the screenshot of server settings to allow us to help with the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

We look forward for your reply.

Thanks,

Thanks for responding to my question.  The only computer change I can remember would be that the Windows 10 October update was recently installed.  My other computers running Windows 7 receive AOL email just fine, as does my Android phone.  So it seems like a Windows 10 problem.  Is there a way I can restore my two computers running Windows 10 back to a previous version that will get it back to how it was before the update?

I'm attaching screen shots of my server settings for your reference.

Thanks for your help.

Bill

I am having a similar issue. Interestingly, AOL stopped working on both my Android phones too on Nov. 20. I had to delete and reload on the phones to get them to work.

My other emails on Microsoft Mail were also delayed in syncing, but seem to now be syncing again.

Hi Bill,

Apologies for the delayed response.

I see from the screenshots you have provided, the issue is with Microsoft Outlook server settings. You might have to make some changes to the server settings. However to prevent any data loss, I would suggest to post your query on Microsoft Office Forums

Hope it helps
