im trying to use the nexus app for my pc case. I've already downloaded it before, and it was working perfectly fine. However, It randomly stopped working and now every time I try to open the app, it asks "do you want to allow this app to add changes?" and then doesn't open anything. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and nothings happened.

Hi Jvh112.
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
Your Nexus application is not opening and attempts to open it do not show anything. You need to check if the program is really not open, some programs don't show a window icon in the taskbar, only a “system tray icon”. You can click on the “^” on the right side of the taskbar to see if there is an icon for the program.
If the program does not open, it may be a permission issue, you may need to add administrator privileges for it to be able to open normally, you can use the following ways to add administrator privileges for the application (pay attention to ensure that the software is a security software):
1. Find the main program of your application, right-click on it and select “Properties”.
2. Select the “Compatibility” tab at the top of the window.
3. Find “Run this program as an administrator” at the bottom and check this option.
4. Click “apply” to save the settings.
Now you can open the program with administrator privileges, and this program also has higher privileges to modify some settings in your computer.
The “Allow software to make changes” pop-up window you see when you open the program is a security reminder pop-up window of “UAC”. You need to select “Yes” in this pop-up window to start the program. If you click “Yes” and the program does not open, you may need to temporarily disable this notification:
1. Type “Control Panel” in the search box on the taskbar and open the program.
2. Go to “System and Security” - “Change User Account Control Settings”.
3. Adjust the slider bar to “Never Notify” at the bottom. (At this time your computer is not protected by UAC, if this method does not work you will need to restore it.)
Now you should be able to open the program normally.
In addition to the above possibilities, the “UAC” security alert popup usually appears when an application needs to be upgraded. If the application can't be upgraded by itself, you may need to uninstall the program completely and download the latest installer of the program from the Nexus website and install the latest version manually. Sometimes this is the reason why the program won't open.
Good luck in resolving your issue.
