Animon Solutions

Are these guys scammers? Animon Solutions.

http://animonsolutions.com/about.html

Absolutely they are scammers, they have many websites under different names including DISI Software solutions and are charging users $100's for fixing non-existent issues, they cold call old and vulnerable users, so my advice is to steer clear of them . . .

You can find quite a lot of information if you know how to look. One of the problems domain registration has for the fraudulent user is that you have to be identified on the domain register so you can look up that domain on ICANN

https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=animonsolutions.com

However in this case they have registered this domain through a proxy, this is their WikiP entry

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domains_by_Proxy

"Advance Fee fraudsters also use Domains By Proxy"

If a legitimate company why hide their identity behind a proxy?

It depends on what you allowed them to do on your computer. If you gave remote access then it could be anything nefarious and how confident are you that it can be cleaned. The ultimate solution has to be a full reload.

As for the scammers you have few options. Once they have had some successes they close down and reappear under a new name. Legally you would have to show their misrepresentation, it depends on your local regulations as to the next step.
