AMD Adrenalin got unistalled suddenly in W11

Hi Guys.

I updated to Windows 11 but now it keeps uninstalling my AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition. My games only run properly on the Adrenaline Drivers. The one Windows gives me appears to be some old out dated drivers. How do I fix this?, the software dissapears of my computer withouth leaving any trace, just not more AMD Adrenaline without doing anything.

I am Jaspreet Singh.
Have you checked if the driver that windows installed is overwriting the proper one.
If yes try selecting older one via these steps :
Open device manager by pressing windows and X keys together and clicking on device manager.
click on display drivers and right click on your AMD device.
Click on update device.
Click on "Browse my computer for drivers"
Click on "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
You should see a list containing all available drivers for your device including previous drivers.
Choose the one below the selected driver in the list.
Click on Next and let the driver install.
Close the windows and reboot your device.
Check if the issue has been resolved.

HI, already try this before and no changes at all. AMD Adrenaline keeps unistalling by itself.

Is this driver that is overwriting the current one coming from windows optional updates?

Actually im not sure, i already check the Windows and NVIDA Drivers and they are up to date, I installed again 2 days ago the Adrenalin, checked the drivers and everything was up to date, and today again no Adrenaline, and the drivers are still the same ones.

No idea what is happening.

Hi.

RTX 3070 with a Ryzen, but the thing is that most of the games run better with Adrenalin and I can configure my 3070 as i want with that software, even boost it and some extra stuff, really is not necessary?

I understand the issue you have, nothing to worry I am here to help, I know some of these steps are already done, you have just skipped it if you think it will have the same result.

Method 1. Do clean boot:
A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

- In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.

- On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.

- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.

- Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.

- Close Task Manager.

- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

If none will work from the above solution, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Hey Bernard, thanks for the replay.

Unfortunately already done that and still unistalling de AMD Adrenalin by itself. My device is updated to the last version, sames as de drivers but is like W11 is rejecting to have de AMD software.
