All the device drivers lost after resetting the computer with Windows 10.

Original title: drivers

I reset my comp. yesterday and none of the drivers that came with this comp. when bought  came back. I need them badly for my wireless mouse and digital camera. Help me get those drivers back asap.

How To Find Drivers:

Do not use device manager it may tell you the device is up to date but will not tell you if it is corrupt 

Search Google for the name of the driver, or go to the computer makers site.

Compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
Visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
If there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program

I do not understand those links and if I can use a link for this computer. When bought new...this comp came with all drivers and software already installed. I am quite lost as to know which 1's I need. But do recognize that my cordless mouse is not working and my digital camera will not work either.    Can you help me out with which 1's  I need.   windows 10  64 bit       Iused to have windows 7   wish I did still. Thanks

You have given us no information and we gave you a generic how to.  If you dont understand you can always go to the computer makers site and download them from there

And how do I find who the computer maker is? I am sorry  but you did not specify what you wanted for info.   When I did this a few years ago   my updates came back a few days later by itself.   I am quite stunned by all this

Ok so you do know.  Now go to Compaq and find the drivers you need.  If you get stuck tell us where.

Thank you for your help. I am at Compaq site and am trying to get them to identify my computer. I have waited a long time  and the progress will Not go past 30%.    
Compaq Presario CQ57-229WM Notebook PC

LW437UA                 I have refreshed 1 time and started over    but after waiting a good 10 minutes   I feel I will bring this so your attention.   Help is needed.

You say you're having problems with your wireless mouse and digital camera.  Those are items that most likely didn't come with the computer, so getting drivers from HP isn't likely to help anything.  BTW, there are no Windows 10 or 8/8.1 drivers for it anyway. 

Please answer the following questions:

  1. Why did you have to reset the computer?
  2. What is the make and model number of the mouse?
  3. What is the problem you're having with the camera?

I reset it because I thought that may remove windows 10. I do not like it. My mouse is logtech and the info on the bottom of it has been removed because of use and time.  My digital camera worked before all this as well as the mouse. The computer does not recognize it as software.   both the camera and the mouse.  I tried that link on the page you gave me   but it only goes to 30%
