All dx12 games are crashing on my PC

I tried playing apex legends and the finals on my pc. both required dx12 to run. it was on early 2024 and it run smoothly. but lately both of two games crashed just after i launch the game. i seek for clues online and it says it caused by dx12. so i try to play the finals on steam with "-dx11" launch option. and finally it can run the finals on my pc with dx11 but the performance are not good. if the updates are the problem it needs a fix ASAP. or please help me to find a fix for my pc if it only happened on my pc (but ive seen many PCs on online reviews and communities have this similar issue)

My PC specs:

-Windows 11

-AMD Ryzen 5 5600H

-NVIDIA RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

-16 GB Memory

-Victus 15

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The best option is to completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the Nvidia website to download and install a couple of slightly older version of the Nvidia device driver to try to find a version that is stable on your system.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.

Hi Daffa Arullah,

I am still experiencing the same issue you mentioned. Could you please provide more details or assist me in resolving it? I have already attempted reinstalling both the latest and older versions of Windows 11, as well as AMD and Nvidia drivers (both old and new), but the problem persists.

None of the games are running properly on my PC. I can play them for at least 5-10 minutes without issues, but they crash shortly after.

The games that crash include:

  • Valorant

  • Apex Legends

  • GTA V (error: "err gfx d3d init")

  • Delta Force

  • Marvel Rivals

  • The Evil Within US

The games crash suddenly, and for GTA V, I only see the "err gfx d3d init" error. Additionally, the "nvlddmkm.sys" BSOD error is very rare—it's almost nonexistent, but I've encountered it a few times while trying to fix the issue since the start of November. I'm still unsure of the cause. My friend, who has a different laptop brand but identical specs (Victus 15, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H, Nvidia RTX 3050, 16 GB RAM), is facing the same problem.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Thank you for your help!
