After transferring file from old laptop to new laptop, using file transfer program that came with the new laptop I cannot boot up.

After transferring files from old laptop to new laptop, using the file transfer program that came with the new laptop, I get the desktop screen with not bottom ribbon for apps. The screen keeps blinking on and off. Tried a hard reboot but got a bit locker screen. Every thing after that just recycled to the bit locker screen and I do not have a bit locker key. I created a Windows Installation Medium on USB drive. I was able to get to the point where I could either repair the computer or load Windows 11. The repair took me to the bit locker screen. The Install Windows 11 took me to a screen where I had to OK the deletion of all my files. Got stopped there since I had no mouse, touch pad or touch screen to OK the deletions. Stuck.

On the old PC was o365 involved and if not you have external backups?

No main brand laptop I have setup over the last few years has evercome with any transfer app/wizard. MS Stopped providing one some years ago as it caused no end of problems with the target device.

Personally I think you are going to have to reset the device, and think very carefully in the setup/install process as to what info you provide, and just hope your old data had been backed up to external
