adding Printer icon to task bar hidden items

How do I add the Printer icon to the Hidden items in the taskbar?

Hello GeorgeneCoopey1, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

I understand you want to add the printer icon to the taskbar;

Press Windows key + I and access Devices;
Click Printers and Scanners;
Select your printer and click Manage;
Click Printing Preferences;
Click on the Maintenance tab;
Check the option: Show shortcut icon on taskbar;
Click OK then Apply;

Now for the icon to appear in Hidden Icons, do the following:

Press Windows key + I and go to Personalization;
Click Taskbar;
Click Select which icons should appear on the taskbar;
Disable the option and check the items you want to show in "hidden icons";

I am trying to add printer icon to taskbar.

I followed instructions (printer/scanner - printer - manage - preference - maintenance (but no show shortcut on taskbar)
