Adding music in Microsoft Photo App

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I suggest you to try the following methods and check:

Method 1: Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter.

Select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Windows Store Apps.

Method 2: Reset Photos App.

1. Press Windows+X > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Locate Photos by Scrolling Down > Click Advanced Options > Click Reset

2. Go to Microsoft Store > Click 3 horizontal dots on top right > Downloads and Updates > Check if there is any update for this app > If yes, update it.

Method 3: Uninstall using Powershell and reinstall the Photos App.

1. Select Start .

2. In the search box on the taskbar, type PowerShell.

3. Right click the result and click Run as administrator.

4. Copy the below command and right click in Powershell to paste it

get-appxpackage Microsoft.Windows.Photos | remove-appxpackage

You need to reinstall it
Use below Powershell command to install

Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.Windows.Photos | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
