900 images might cause system resource
issues...especially if you add transitions and
effects to all of them.
Anyway...try the following steps...
Add your files to the Timeline/Storyboard...
Go to...Storyboard View...
Select at least one frame and go to...
Edit / Select All...
Go to...Video Transitions...or...Video Effects
Right click your choice... and choose...
"Add To Storyboard"

Thank you so much John it seems to be working. I dont have 900 photos in one movie, its broken up in about 7 movies. So not too much though.
Now, the select all works and I can add the effect to those images. This is probably going to be a dumb question cause I dont think this can be done. I was wondering if there is a way of selecting every second photo and adding 1 effect and then select the others, and then add another effect there. Its just I dont want it to be boring with only one effect. But if I can only do select all, then its cool too!!
Thank you!

Try multiple selecting by holding your Ctrl key
while left clicking the clips of your choice.
FWIW...you might like PhotoStory 3...
it automatically applies random motion to all
photos in the slide show. (but it does have a
300 photo limit)
