By default, win 11 update auto updates only critical win updates, and nothing else unless you have made the mistake of selecting the "Get latest updates" option, and if you have turn it off. (It includes drivers)
You obtain both Bios & Drivers updates from the PC Maker, there should be a shortcut on your system to that makers update utility, and no other source.
Then set Bios to Defaults & Pwr to balanced.
At the end of the day shutdown, do NOT leave in sleep
Run the Acer update utility
Currently win11 Pro & O365 Bus, multiple devices

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, this issue happens when there is a miscalibration with the power options, and since the issue happens after the update, we will try to reinstall the battery by following the steps below:
Method 1. Reinstall Battery Drivers (Skip this process if you already tried to uninstall all drivers under the batteries)
-Press the Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Batteries
-Right-click then uninstall all drivers there
-Restart the PC and check it again
Method 2. Restore default power options
-Press Windows key + R then type:
powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
-Restart the PC and check.
Method 3. Run power, Troubleshooter
- Press Windows key + R then type:
msdt.exe /id PowerDiagnostic
- Click OK then follow the prompts to run the power troubleshooter
-Restart the device after
Note: If the issue persists, we need to run a battery report just to check if the battery itself is having a hardware issue, to do this, kindly follow the steps below:
Search for Command prompt > right-click and select “Run as administrator”
Copy, paste, and enter the command:
powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery_report.html
Then go to Drive C: or C:\ and look for “battery_report”
Then please upload it to Cloud storage like OneDrive or any cloud storage you are using and please share the shareable link here.
To upload and share the link using One Drive:
Go to this link: https://onedrive.live.com/ then upload the file.
Then provide the shareable link by following the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/shar...
Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.
