ACER Aspire 5532 touchpad SOFTWARE
I accidentally uninstalled the SOFTWARE for the touchpad on my ACER Aspire 5532 laptop. The drivers still appear in the list of programs. I do not need drivers. They are working fine. Where do I find the SOFTWARE for my touchpad. I thought it was
a virus because my computer began to run slow. I saw a program that I didn’t recognize on my machine and deleted it. I don’t remember the name but it sounded Greek. It was something like Aquos or something. Does anyone know the real name of this program
so I can find it and reinstall it?

Hi,
Check with Acer Support, their on-line documentation, and drivers.
Acer - USA - Service and Support

Acer - Drivers and Downloads (set Operating System to your version of Windows 7 after reaching the
Aspire 5532 Driver page.)

Acer - Worldwide

There does not seem to be a TouchPad driver at Acer and there are two possible TouchPad's - one has
a fingerprint reader and one does not. So you really do need to check with Acer Support.
Synaptic TouchPad Drivers

Another TouchPad used for that model is ALPS.
Maybe this is it - Windows 7 64 bit version

====================
Reboot 1st if you haven't.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Mice and Pointing Devices - Double Click on Touch Pad - Driver's Tab -
Click Update Driver (this is may not do anything as MS is far behind certifying drivers), now RIGHT CLICK
on TouchPad and UNINSTALL.
Hope this helps.
