About half of the search menu is cut off, disappears upon click but reappears after closing it

Title, whenever I try to search something, about half the menu is covered by a gray box. Clicking on the box removes it, but it comes back whenever the search bar is closed. Is there a solution for this?

Hello TheMobile,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today. I understand you have a problem with half of the search menu is cut off, disappears upon click but reappears after closing it. Did you made any changes recently? When was the last time it was working properly?

Kindly try the suggested methods below if it helps.

Method 1.
**Please try to check first this support article.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/w...

Method 2.
**Please try to run SFC and DISM to check for any system errors and corrupted files.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402652...
After that, Restart your PC

Method 3.
**Repair all Windows apps via Powershell
Windows key+X then select Windows Powershell (Admin)
copy paste the command below one at a time then press Enter. Please ignore the red errors and let the process complete.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register "$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Restart your Computer

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

Sincerely
