3D Paint in the Microsoft Store will not download and install

I have a brand new PC with Windows 11 home installed. I have completed all the updates for Windows 11 and I have managed to download and install apps from the MS Store with no issues. When I try to install 3D paint, that is where my problems start! It is stuck on pending and remains so. I have tried the below so far.

Ran WSReset.exe

Windows up-to date.

Logged in to Microsoft account, logged out and back in again.

No apps installing while Paint 3D is.

Checked if Anti-virus is blocking it.

Ran "Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}" in Windows PowerShell.

Restarted PC 14 times.

Tried to download Paint 3D from website but brings me to Microsoft store.

Ran Microsoft store troubleshoot but it can't fix it.

Any advice appreciated! Thank you.

Answer

Just in case anyone reads this, these instructions worked for me and solved the problem. Follow the sequence below:

With the MS store open (windows key + R) in the run box type wsreset.exe followed by enter.

The MS store will close and reopen, give it a few minutes then close the MS store.

In the Windows Terminal Admin (right click windows start icon).

Type in or copy paste: Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

When complete restart your computer.
