Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues playing Minecraft multiplayer. In what platform do you play? What Minecraft edition are you playing?

I understand that you mentioned that you already turned on everything in the app. However, as part of our troubleshooting, kindly follow these steps to confirm if this specific setting is allowed.

1. Go to https://account.xbox.com/settings
2. Login using your Microsoft account with Minecraft.
(if it doesn't say it and directs you to the website, make sure you're signed in using the correct email)
Note: If you don't have an Xbox account, it will ask you to make one, so make any account.
3. If you scroll down, under your username and Avatar it should say "Xbox one/windows 10 online safety" click on that
4. Scroll down until you see "You can join multiplayer games" allow or block,
allow this
Relaunch Minecraft and you should be able to join any multiplayer server.

i play minecraft java edition on pc, the multiplayer features where blocked yesterday, so i had to turn them on but it doesn't seem to have solved anything

using an alternative launcher worked, thank you really
