Hello,Juan Marcillo

Welcome to posting in the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns, I can understand your concerns while dealing with this update, let me explain it briefly for you.

Regarding the Windows 10 update KB5050188 that you mentioned, the push on Windows 11 may indeed be due to a server push error. The update server may incorrectly push certain updates to incompatible operating systems, such as Windows 11, instead of targeting Windows 10 users. This is not uncommon, especially during operating system version transitions, and may occur as a result of mislabeling; you can safely ignore this update and it will not have any impact on your device. If you find it visually disturbing, you can try the following method to hide this update:

  1. Search for CMD, find the command prompt, and select Run as administrator mode.

  2. Enter the following commands in turn, and press Enter after each line.

    net stop bits
    net stop wuauserv
    net stop cryptsvc
    ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
    ren %systemroot%\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
    Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat"
    net start bits
    net start wuauserv
    net start cryptsvc
  3. Then visit the following page to download the Update Hide Tool
    Update Hide Tool Download

  4. Run this tool and follow the prompts to select the KB names that no longer need to be updated.

If you experience any distress during the process, please feel free to contact me and I will answer your questions further. Thank you for your immediate and cooperation!

Hello Rota.Y

I don't think it's going to be a visually disturbing thing, persay. But if I'm okay to ignore this one, then I will.

I'll mark your post as the solution. Thanks for taking the time to reply!
