Surface Pro X pen pressure staircasing issue, when touching the screen with your hand


Same issue as on the Surface Pro 7.


This is a major issue for artists, since not only does this happen when resting your palm, but any touch interaction, such as when using brush modifiers with your thumb, while drawing with the pen.

Microsoft, could you please fix this, or acknowledge that a driver or firmware update is on the way?  It has been 3 months since this was posted.  My brush strokes are truly awful and I've been forced to shelve my Pro X for the time being and retreat to an older tablet PC.
