Hello. I just received my package two days ago for the keyboard and pen for my surface pro 8. after a day of using then charging my computer, the pen has stopped functioning. can someone explain why

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Surface Slim Pen 2. There could be several reasons why it's not working. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the battery level of your pen. Make sure it's fully charged or replace the battery if necessary.
2. Make sure your pen is paired with your Surface device. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and make sure your pen is listed under "Other devices." If it's not, try pairing it again.
3. Restart your Surface device and try using the pen again.
4. If none of the above steps work, try resetting your pen. Press and hold the top button of your pen for 7 seconds until the LED light flashes white, then release the button. Wait for the LED light to turn off, then press the button again to turn on your pen.
