Unresponsive areas surface book touch screen

Within the last two weeks of the latest December 2017 update I noticed that my screen had a deadspot along the bottom of the screen. I ran the diag. tool as you see in the first picture. Only a few days prior that particular test came out fine. It there any hope?

Kiosk = no. You should be prepared to exchange your Surface when you do visit the store, so back up any local files and data. I know this is a pain..
