Surface Pro X - Projecting to This PC

I'm trying to use my Surface Pro X as a second display for my other PC. When launching Projecting to this PC, I see the following error. How do I get past this error?

Hi ColinJenkins2,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

Please check first if Wireless display is listed under Optional features of the device. Go to Windows Settings > Apps. Under Apps & features, click on Manage optional features. On the next page, check if Wireless display is listed. If not, click on Add a feature then select Wireless display and click Install. After installation, restart your Surface.

After restart, go back Project to this PC page then set these details below:

For Some Windows and Android devices can project to this PC when you say it's OK, set it to Available everywhere

For Ask to project to this PC, set it to Every time a connection is required

For the Require PIN for pairing, set it to Never

Turn off the This PC can be discovered for projection only when it's plugged in

Hi ColinJenkins2,

Thank you for the response apologies for the delay.

May I know which configuration of the Surface Pro X do you have? Is it the SQ1 or SQ2?

Please try also to open Device Manager, expand Network adapters and double-click on Qualcomm Wi-Fi adapter. Go to its Driver tab and check/take note of its Driver version. Click on Update driver and select Search automatically for drivers. After updating check again if the Driver version is updated then test and try to project again. Kindly provide us also with the Driver version installed on the device.
