Surface Pro 7 cannot turn camera on

After an update two weeks ago my camera on my surface pro 7 stopped working. I get an error code stating the camera cannot be turned on. I have searched all over the place trying everything I can find from updating drivers, registry changes, uninstalling the driver and app, windows powershell stuff, and so on. Nothing seems to be working to fix the issue. In our day of the stupid zoom meetings and stuff I need my camera. Here is the error that I get. Any assistance would be appreciated. Image

Thanks for posting your concern here, ChrisEwing2. We're sorry to learn about this issue on your device.

At this point, please check if camera device is enabled in UEFI. See How to get to the UEFI settings on a Surface for more details. Once you're in UEFI, go to Devices, and you should be able to see IR and Front Camera. Ensure that it's toggled ON. If it's already On, disable it for at least 15 seconds and then back to enable. Click Exit and Restart device.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes by responding on this thread.

Thank you for the suggestion. All cameras were on. I turned them off. waited about 30 seconds and then turned them back on, then restarted the surface pro. Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. It still states the camera cannot be turned on when attempted to unlock the surface pro and the camera app shows the same error.

Any other suggestions?

I have the same problem and the offered solution did not resolve it. The update also disabled the use of my Surface Pen. Are there additional resolutions or that was the only suggestion Microsoft has to offer?
