Surface Pro 6 SIM Card Slot

Hi, I just got a new Surface Pro 6 (128 GB / 8 GB RAM / i5) and I cant find the SIM card slot. Can you please advise
SP6 does not have a SIM slot. The SP 2017 5th generation LTE model is the most
current model with this feature.

I have a Surface Pro 6 and the Micro SIM slot is located pretty much where the SP5 slot is located.  Lift the flap on the back, and you will see the slot.   I just installed a Samsung 512 GB micro SIM card, and it fit into the slot, and worked perfectly.  You insert the card face up.

SP6 has a microSD slot, not a SIM slot for cellular data.

I too found slot - inserted 128 GB Micro (face up) - it not work - I guess as it not yet formatted.

Any other suggestions appreciated.

with the label side up, when you insert it does it "click" into place and do you
hear the "ding" plug and play sound when the Surface is at the desktop?
