surface book 2 yellow spot on screen

Hi,

Lately while I am using the computer, there is a brownish-yellow stain at the bottom of the screen on the side of the charger connection. The area gets darker as the computer is used for longer time or when it is plugged in. In addition, the area there heats up a bit more than the rest of the screen.

Once you stop using the computer for an hour or two the stain disappears and then back again.

Is there anything to do about it?, the computer is relatively new and was bougt only 4 months ago.


You should exchange it. This sounds like a hardware issue that will probably get
worse over time.
