Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 Wifi Issues - Slow after wake from sleep

Hello.

Have recently purchased a new Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 and have noticed that once the laptop is put to sleep, upon using it again the wifi is really slow. I have also read that other are experiencing the same issues and wanted to know if there is a way to fix this or whether there will be a software update to address this issue.

Thanks.

Ike do you have an Intel based Surface Laptop 3? There are NO new drivers for it.

I'd be interested in knowing what brand and model router and firmware version those of you impacted by this are using.

I'm having the same issue on Intel SL3 for Business 13" i7/16GB/256GB.  We've purchased 6 of these and they are all having the same issue.

WiFi works fine on a clean start-up, after locking or letting the laptop go to Sleep (as little as 10 minutes) and coming back, the WiFi is stuck on "Connecting" for a Hidden Network.

A restart of the laptop or the Intel network adapter is required to fix it.

The published workaround of changing the MIMO Power Save Mode seems to work inconsistently by keeping the Intel WiFi NIC out of power saving mode, but doesn't work 100%.

This really needs to be fixed, not sure who's at fault here as Intel's WiFi 6 and this Ice Lake chipset are new, but other Ice Lake based laptops from other Vendors (Dell, Lenovo, etc) don't seem to have this issue and Microsoft heavily curates their driver packages on the Surface line.

Bought these laptops as replacements for C-level, no way we can send these out in this state!  And, we had to wait nearly a month to get them!

Additionally, I have experienced issues with bluetooth audio quality from this device connected to my Jaybird Vista Headphones. The sound will sometimes stutter and crack. This is in an out.

Hoping there is not an antenna design flaw (hardware issue) affecting either of these...

Thanks.
