Has anyone figured out how to use the Surface Pro on their lap?
The Surface Pro is useable on my lap (a la laptop). It is too unstable. I've tried using it with various stabilizing boards underneath but it is not a permanent solution. Seems like there is a great opportunity for some enterprising inventor to come up
with a way to stabilize the device with the keyboard for lap use.
They probably will sometime in the near future. Do remember that these machine are only 6 months old. The kickstand on the tablet is a good idea but only designed for a desk or table and if you put it on your lap, you have to fold it and lay it flat on
your lap and then try to "hen peck" on the keyboard without the tablet trying to 'bail out'.
Belkin, I noted, is starting to make a few accessories for these tablets so spot check the Microsoft Store and whenever they come out, they will probably show up there. The iPad cases will be too small because of the screen size compared to these tablets.
A shame, though. They have some pretty good ones out there.
