Brightness and Volume buttons not working on Surface Book 2 Keyboard

I have repair reset my Surface Book 2, updated it and still my function keys are not working. When I press the brightness decrease key on the keyboard it opens a microsoft 10 page. The other brightness keys and volume do not work as well. 

I noticed this about 3 weeks ago and I have not been able to resolve it. This is a new laptop.

For the keys you mentioned (brightness and volume control), please make sure that the Fn key is not illuminated or turned off. Once confirmed, press the keys so it will function as what you expected.
