Blender 2.8 not working well with Intel Iris graphics

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Surface Community. We thank you for taking advantage on our new Surface Pro 7. Definitely this is not the experience that we want you to have. We do have some questions just to further isolate the issue of your Surface pro 7.

We have just viewed and listen to your video and so far, you have mentioned that other version of it works fine just this version 2.8 on it. Is this the latest version of Blender?

Just to clarify, since you have mentioned that it works fine on your old Surface, does 2.8 version also works fine on your Surface Pro 4?

Have you tried contacting the developer on it?

Also, may we know on what current version and build of your Surface Pro 7.

Hi thanks for your post and interest in my problem. Yes the version 2.8 is the latest released version of blender. version 2.81 is a beta build that you can download and try out on their version this newer version that is not released yet experiences the same viewport lagg problem. All versions i have tried works fine on the surface Pro 4 even the version 2.8.

Have you tried contacting the developer on it? i presume you mean the software here, as in Blender. i have not contacted them yet and this is my next step. Thanks for the respons.

Also, may we know on what current version and build of your Surface Pro 7.

I am not sure where to find this information, but in the surface software i could find this.

Surface Pro 7 Model 1866 i7.

Thanks for your patience on this. We do apologize for the late response. Have you already contacted the developer of the App?

You can check the OS version and build of your Surface Pro 7 by typing on your Task Bar search box "Winver" or go to Windows Settings> System> About.

I am in contact with the developers on this forum.

https://developer.blender.org/T70922 Many people are having issues with Microsoft surface devices running the 10th Ice lake intel processors. Yet i have posted on Intel forums and they said to me they dont experience this issue and think it might be microsoft specifik.

Another thread https://blenderartists.org/t/blender-not-working-well-on-surface-pro-7/1187133/20 people that would whant the surface device. But see the problem aswell.

I know you released a new update for surface on microsoft, but no change to performance.
