Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition with a Surface Pro 3 and 4. I'd like to assign the 'wheel' button to double click since I've been doing this for years and years. Any way of doing so?
TIA for any help.
Cheers.

It would be the one on Amazon

Actually, since installing as per above I can't scroll by dragging my finger up/down the ribbon. [Edit: this is intermittent]

Hi JohnrC1,
Just to confirm, have you successfully installed the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center? If yes, open Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center and toggle On the page Up/down.

Hi JohnrC1,
Thank you for getting back to us. If you successfully installed the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center. By default you can double tap in the middle of the panel acts as middle click. To enable this feature to reassign, open the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.

I'm probably doing a poor job of communicating. I think the issue here is that I'm looking for the opposite :) I'd like to tap once in the middle of the panel to act as a double click.
Ever since mouse wheels were invented I've assigned it this way. Press on the wheel for a double click. But I'm now wondering if this would cause problems given that it's not a mechanical movement of a part... maybe just moving across the panel will accidentally activate the double click function. But I've grown so used to it over the decades that I'd like to try if possible.
Yes, I've installed the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.
