Why is my Outlook address list hooked up with my husband's Skype account?

• How do I find my way around Skype for Windows desktop? (Classic version) > Click Help and select About Skype.
• Common questions with Skype on Desktop, Mac, and Linux (New desktop version) > Click your profile icon > scroll down and select About.
• Finding your way around Skype for Windows 10 (UWP) > Click your profile icon > scroll down and click About Skype.
• What version of the new Skype am I using? (Android & iOS) > Tap your profile icon > Settings  > scroll down and tap About.​
• Skype for Web > click the gear icon > select About.

Take a screenshot of the contacts that appears on your husband's account. You can mask the personal information.

The Skype version we installed on my husband's Dell laptop is 12.1803.279.0.

Can you confirm if your husband uses your email address to sign in or did he use his username and password?

Dear Karen,

When we downloaded Skype, his name appeared (was shown) as the user. I don't remember our having signed in at all. I certainly didn't sign him in with my email address, and he never would have thought to do that.

This is a brand new computer with very little data on it.

Roger had begun using his email account in Outlook. His account, not mine. And this is why I'm so perplexed about my address list being offered to him as his possible Skype contacts.

Even though he obviously has a Skype account, neither of us has a record of the password.

To isolate the issue, please follow the steps below:

• Click the profile icon > scroll down and click sign out.
• Then ask your husband to sign back in using his account.

Let me know if he still can see your contacts in his profile.

We signed him out but couldn't get back in because we don't know his password. So we set up a new account for him, and there's still that list of my email contacts as suggested contacts for him on Skype. I guess it's because I'm a user, too, on the new laptop.

I suppose we'll just have to put up with the situation and try to work around it.

Please be informed that the suggested contacts was released in the new Skype for Windows desktop, Mac and Linux and Skype for mobile devices only. This provides an easier way to add contacts.

Now to further check on this, please take a screenshot of the Skype page where the suggested contacts appear on your husband's profile.
