Can not tell if contacts are on line no green dot, try to ring from skype to land line the ring tone drops off after about 30 seconds

Hello DonaldBeaumont,

Just for clarification, is it all your contacts that are not showing a green dot online indication or just the phone number that you're trying to call?

With regards to your calling issue,

  • Are you able to call the number using a regular phone?
  • What is the error you're getting when calling?
  • Are you unable to call a specific number only?

The green dot doesn't come on if my contacts are on line, and when you go to try skype them it only rings for about 30 seconds and then stops ringing.

I only ring one number from skype to a land line and it does the same as if I was calling from skype to skype.

Ive have money on the phone account AND I CANNT USE IT how about a refund please

I can ring the number on my phone IT WORKS NOT LIKE SKYPE

No error comes up at all

Even my contacts are get feed up with skype new version

Hi All,

Please follow the steps below for resetting Skype for Windows 10 in order to fix the issue with your contacts status.

  1. Open the Start menu and click Settings.
  2. Click Apps.
  3. Locate and click Skype from the Applications list.
  4. Click Advanced option.
  5. Select Reset.​

Upon checking your account, we have seen you are calling an invalid phone number. Make sure to dial the phone number correctly so the call will connect.

I have done that and it still the same. Getting feed up with skype  some off my contacts have the same problem

Try signing out and signing in. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Skype. Make sure to restart your device before reinstalling.

Every time I uninstall and reinstall skype I lose my money in my account. The problem is with skype I was speaking to a computer tec yesterday and he said he was having the same problems as I am And he said its a problem WITH SKYPE the way it has been programed  I also would like a credit put back into my back account I will send on my receipt  

SO GET IT FIXED SKYPE AT THERE END
