Logitech C270 webcam not working with Skype

The voice works but not video with Logitech C270 webcam. In Skype settings it says another device is using camera. Skype says to, go to device setting and allow Skype. How do I do this ?

Hi,

Please update your video driver. Here’s how:

  • Select the Start Windows logo button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.

  • Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver. For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Update Driver.

  • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

  • If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

I have a new Logitech webcam c310.  It seems to work fine in that I can see myself.  The other person cannot see me when I make a Skype call.  How do I fix this?  Thanks.
