Merging two Skype accounts

There is no option to merge/update one Skype account to another Skype account. 

You can only merge/update your Skype and Microsoft accounts.

• We'll show you all the Skype accounts associated with that email address.
• Select the account you want to sign in to Skype with and select Reset and follow the instruction on how to get your account.

I was able to get my old Skype name back, but online with Skype it still says I have two accounts. One using *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and one using *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I wish to combine them because with the Skype update, my new account doesn't recognize any of my Skype contacts and is making me invite them all over again. Would love some advice! :-)
