what is sarl?

Today I launched skype and was asked if i wanted to allow Skype Software SARL to access and make changes to user account control. What is sarl?

This is a regular Skype program, I accidentally signed Sarl thinking I was changing my Skype username. No one ought to try to ask you for money for SkypeSarl program. this is a misnomer. Please report anyone asking you for money, I am so sorry I messed up the name and somehow it became attached to the Skype program name. I am ***************, seldom come to the community site unless I have questions about anything. this is how I read your complaint. Be careful folks.

Oh boy, now I've read another explanation for the sarl name. I hope I didn't confuse anyone, I truly tried to explain how the name might've been changed, and it did happen to me too, after I was trying to reset my username, skypesarl came back and in some weird way it resembled my user name. So sorry.
