Teams do not show correct profile picture on Mac

According to the screenshot you provided, I totally understand the problem you encountered. Given this situation, you can try the following suggestions and check whether it works:

1.  To determine whether it is related to your network, please change your network connection to others like WiFi and then restart your Teams to see the result.

2.  Since the profile pictures are showing in Teams Web App, I suggest you try clearing the Teams cache and check if it makes any difference. To clear the cache, the steps are as follows:

    a. Quit Microsoft Teams.

    b. Delete files in following folders.

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Application Cache/Cache”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/blob_storage”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Cache”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/databases”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/GPUCache”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/IndexedDB”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Local Storage”

        “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/tmp”

c. Restart Microsoft Teams.

Note: Before you clear caches, please backup them to prevent data loss.
