Skype for Business screen resolution

I'm using Dell M5510 running a 4k resolution. When a my colleague presenting using a common resolution like 1366x768, the presentation turn out to be small which is about 1/3 of my screen. That makes the text on the presentation is not illegible at all. I tried these methods but all failed.

- use Windows10 scaling feature but it doesn't apply to Skype.

- pinch zoom in

- press "ctrl" and "+" to zoom

I don't have this issue with my MacBook Retina which also has a high resolution display. Everything appear alright there.

Any idea how to solve this? Please advise. Many thanks.

Answer

Hi DonnyChan,

To view the presentation via Full Screen View please click the “Full Screen View”:

Image

When viewing the shared content, you can control how it’s displayed in your meeting window. Tap or click the stage to see the Actual Size and Fit to View options in the lower-right corner of the stage area.

Actual Size displays the content in the same size as that on the PC of the person sharing it.

Fit to View resizes it to fit the size of your screen.

Thanks,

Poppy
