signup.live.com is down

I have been trying to create a Skype account for my wife and have been unable to do so, either through the app (Linux) or through the website.  signup.live.com appears to be down.  login.live.com works fine - I am able to login to my Skype.

Any idea what the issue is, or when it will be resolved?

Were you using the same internet connection on your pc and mobile?

The DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN only happens if your device is unable to look up the requested website.

There are several factors why this is happening. It can be virus, firewall restrictions, in-configured DNS server, internet limitations and so on.

If possible, please try using a different internet connection or any connection outside your home network (mobile data for ex.)

We tested the website and it works fine. We have no reported issues with other users accessing the website as well.

You may need to contact your internet provider to get assistance on resetting your DNS server.
