I don't have the Meet Now icon in Windows Taskbar Settings

Hello

. I am sending this question.

How do I enable the Meet Now icon in the taskbar even when this option is not present in Taskbar Settings?

Hope you write it asap. The photo is not telling lies:

Hi ZetenixXPL,

My name is Therese, an Independent Advisor.

May I know the Windows 10 version installed on your computer?

Microsoft has released another new Windows 10 Build 20221 a few days back which has added a Meet Now icon in the taskbar in Windows 10. That being said, please check for Windows updates for your operating system.

Go to Windows Settings > Check for Updates

If you are not yet seeing the Meet Now icon on your Taskbar, then this may just be a matter of time. On my Windows 10 tablet, this icon was first added 2 days ago, without any new major Windows 10 update.

If your Windows 10 OS has no available update, I recommend waiting until the Meet Now icon becomes available for your device.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

I honestly can' tell. I can't communicate with Microsoft directly as I don't work for them either. I'm sorry.

I would recommend restarting your device from time to time.

It probably wouldn’t help even if you did work for Microsoft; After contacting support, I had one guy send me a Teams article and abruptly end the chat, the next person had no idea what Meet Now was, a third send me to Skype support who talked around in circles for an hour then told me that... duh... it was a Windows issue and I’d have to start over again. He told me at one point I was confused and thinking about “google meet now” which literally doesn’t exist.

It’s nuts that no one seems to know how this feature is implemented, and that the general advice (I know this isn’t your fault, I’m just venting) is to wait and see.

Beyond tossing out articles that the community contributes to through their own hard work and investigation, I seriously wonder what good Microsoft support is at all.

I have the same problem; I have version 19042.964 and I still don't have the meet now icon. What's more, with this version I was supposed to have news and interests, and nothing.
