How do I reactivate Skype Credit?

I was not using SKYPE for many years(around 5 years ago) I had around 9 euros with unknown amount of cents in my skype account. Now I see Skype together with Microsoft. But I cannot reactivate my balance. There is no option Reactivate Credit. I logged many times, changed passwords etc., followed instructions offered by skype community, no result.  Read all suggestions from Skype Community, there are plenty problems with other users too, so I see, this is common problem. Something wrong, something not working in your system. Please assist to reactivate my balance.

Hi Daniels! My name is Therese, an Independent Advisor.

If you're signed into Skype but can't find your deactivated Skype credit, you probably signed into a different account than you intended to. Confirm it here: https://secure.skype.com/portal/profile > What do you see in the Skype Name field?

Important note:
If you see live:prefix, please sign out on the Skype website and sign in using the Skype name referencing in the email (do not sign in by your email address).

If you have forgotten your Skype Name, access this link https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA109/ and follow the instructions below "I forgot my user name for Skype". Please note that this process is not applicable if the email address you used to create your Skype account is no longer accessible.

Hi Therese,

When I logged in my skype name was wrong, there was 1 letter to much, it was daniels_siriechenko, I corrected it to daniels_sirichenko

I've tried to log in same as before with login name daniels_sirichenko, but forgot password, I recovered it, finally it's automatically returning me to the same account.

Problem not  solved, cannot see my balance and there is no option in my account to reactivate credit.

Hello Daniels
,
I tried searching your account in the directory and here's what I found (please see screenshot).

If you are logged in to live:daniels_sirichenko, please log out as I suspect your Skype credit is on the daniel_siriechenko account. Please do not sign in using your email address as you will end up getting the same live:daniels_sirichenko account. Sign in using daniel_siriechenko Skype ID.

There are actually 3 ways to sign in to Skype, all depends on how you created your Skype account:

1. Your old custom Skype Name (not your email address).
2. Your email address (assigned a live: or live:cid prefix alphanumeric Skype name)
3. Your phone number (assigned a live:cid prefix alphanumeric Skype name)

Hi Daniels,

Your Skype ID should not have a letter 's' in Daniels. It should be exactly the same as daniel_siriechenko

Your email address (assigned a live: or live:cid prefix alphanumeric Skype name)

Pls give example, what exactly to enter???

What means "cid"?

There is no account with the Skype Name daniels_sirichenko, but there should be one with the Skype name daniel_sirichenko. The extra "s" in the first name makes the difference.

In the past, I believe about 4 or 5 years ago, it was possible to create a custom Skype name. In your case, it's the daniel_siriechenko account.

Now, Microsoft removed this feature. When you sign up or sign in using your email address or phone number, the Skype system will automatically generate a Skype name designated for this account which starts with live: or live.:cid. In your case, it's the live:daniels_sirichenko account.

Since you have created your account a long time ago, possibly before Micorosft acquired Skype, you had your custom Skype name which is the daniel_siriechenko. There's a big chance that your deactivated credit is in this account.

To reactivate it, all you have to is to sign out from live:daniels_sirichenko and sign in using your custom Skype name daniel_siriechenko.

Thanks for appointing "s", I forgot about this "s" letter. So I recovered my daniel_sirichenko account, but there is still not showing any balance and there is no any option to reactive credit.

Please assist.
