How do I get rid of the blue Skype logo that now appears top and bottom when I view an image. I'm using Android app

When I open an image to view it in the Android app, there is a blue Skype logo (in fact two) over the top and bottom of the image. This is recently changed, maybe a month at most. I have tried latest release and the beta/preview but both do it. The PC doesn't do this, please help

I really don't think the model of phone or Android version would cause this but Pixel Android 13

I suspect that this is a new feature introduced with Android 13 update. I don't see anything similar with my Android 11 and the latest Skype 8.92.0.206 version.

Check the new protection and Security options on your Android 13 phone:

Not sure anything in Android could put the app logo onto the images only while you view them. It's not there if I save them.

I really see this as a Skype issue, yes maybe something because it's running on Android 13 but a Skype bug not an Android setting or bug

Am I assuming that nobody has any ideas or isn't running Skype on Android 13 to say "It's ok for me" or "Yes, same problem"???

Hello. I'm Jessica. I'm happy to be able to help you.

I believe that the problem presented is not in the Skype application. If this problem happens to all photos, check the settings and tools available for editing images on your Android. The image you sent looks like a standard image filter with the Skype logo that has been edited and inserted. It could be that for some reason this setting was turned on and that logo was saved in your images in your photos folder. Check the possibility of clearing the cache or setting default settings for the image default applications and see if the problem is solved.

Regards.

I have the most current version of Android and I also have the most current version of Skype installed on my Android device and I have the exact same issue so I'm not the only one that's having this issue I don't know why this was ever thought of that it would be cool to put that there it does not need to be there and needs to be removed or I'll just remove Skype

I'm sure other people are upset with this and other people also know that there's many more other multimedia programs out there and wish they can keep in contact with family friends and business individuals and will stop using Skype in its entirety until it's fixed

It happens to all photos for me, but only in Skype on Android. Therefore it's hard to understand how you think the problem presented is not in the Skype application. It is the same on all my Android devices, either Android 10 or Android 13 and they all have Skype 8.92.0.401. The problem doesn't exist on PC or Mac.

Regards.
