How can I change my skype name?

Hi.
Unfortunately you can’t change your Skype name/id or username because it’s permanent. But you can change your display name clicking on your profile picture and then scroll down to see your display name and change it.

My sincere apologies. It is not possible to change Skype ID / Skype Name. This is one of the heavily demanded features and under consideration by Microsoft.
However, you can change your Display Name.
Login to your account
https://secure.skype.com/account/
Click on Edit Profile > Edit Profile to enable in Edit mode > You can change your Display Name here

Currently, Skype doesn't let you change your Skype ID, only your Skype name. It is a highly requested feature, but is not available.
