Cortana and Skype with Invoke Speaker

Why does Skype fail to link to Cortana for calls on Invoke speaker? Recent update rendered calling on the speaker fail. Cannot link Cortana and Skype in the Cortana app. It continually says that it fails.

I'm having the same issue. Cortana won't link with Skype and the Invoke speaker in both my iOS app or Windows 10. It gets stuck on the "I Agree" screen (terms/conditions).

This information was not helpful.  The reason I posted this is because I had already done all of this.  I have had the speaker working for almost 2 years now until Microsoft messed things up on the back end. Now the most useful feature of the device doesn't work for me. I have the speaker working fine and connected to my account with no problems, but the Skype functionality is nonexistent.

Have you tried to reset your Invoke device? The information about how to reset this is on page #7.

Your suggestions have not been helpful.  The moderator showed links to this known issue with the speaker and it is something that Microsoft has to fix on their side. Unless you are a Microsoft Skype or Cortana programmer I don't know that you will be able to help resolve this issue.

I tried logging in as GitHub instead; same issue.

The links are stored in Cortana's notebook, which is stored online; I wonder if there's a web interface for this flaky Windows 10 UI that lets you link Skype to Cortana using a web browser instead?

I agree, it's annoying to provide a facility that doesn't work - it will be great when it's fixed, because there are of course other digital assistants that MS are in competition with.
