cant log in to skype on android via wifi . i can log in with mobile data. windows 10pc works fine with wifi. please help

basically title. i have 3 android devices at home. 2 phones 1 tablet. none can log in to skype via wifi. shows ''cant connect, check internet connection and try again".  all 3 can with mobile data. my wifi works, i checked. it works on my pc, and all mobiles. skype on pc works with wifi. tried updating skype, deleting , clearing catche and data. i need skype for my son to study but we cant, please help

I would like to suggest that you try clearing out your cache and app data in your device first and reconnecting your device to the WiFi you are currently using. You may also try downloading the preview version and check if the same issue would persist. You can use this link to start installing Skype Preview: https://www.skype.com/en/insider/

tried clearing out cache and app data - still doesnt work. skype preview - same problem.
