Yes, for me, probably others as well, this starts out with me being dropped into a Skype room with 600 other names. Most saw the writing on the wall so now its 530 users. When looking at the drop list of names, some of them dont even make sense so it literally looks like someone name-scraped and just vomited the list into a Skype chat.
SCAM yep. I was a victim once which is something on me. I admit it, owned up to the stupidity, and simply live to warn others. I believe these are the same people I was victim too but here, read my story and you will see the similarity. Tokentrace says it best, pig butchering.

I have left messages in the room about scams but the freaky thing is no one pays attention. Like telling the host they are full of sh*t and everyone who is real or has a brain needs to just leave the room and block. Its like Im not even there.
The chat room usually lasts for like two or so weeks and then a notification will appear stating they want to consolidate active users and then for anyone who wants to continue to contact the assistant.
Here are screenshots from the current chat room in Skype. Notice none of the images that these people post even show in the chat room. They usually contain images of returns people claim to have gotten post trading.
